Как и было обещано, Джефф Кейли во время прямого эфира объявил всех номинантов The Game Awards 2020. В этом году на шоу будут представлены 30 разных категорий, для каждой из которых были отобраны свои претенденты. Главными претендентами всей церемонии стали эксклюзивы PlayStation: The Last of Us: Part II, Ghost of Tsushima и Final Fantasy VII Remake, у которых большое количество номинаций. Также отличился инди-проект от Supergiant Games — Hades, на его счету 8 номинаций.

Телеведущий в очередной раз напомнил о бушующей пандемии из-за чего шоу впервые пройдет в цифровом формате, однако на нем все равно можно будет увидеть и услышать живой оркестр. Церемония награждения The Game Awards 2020 пройдет уже в следующей месяце — 11 декабря в 03:00 по МСК. Трансляция будет идти сразу из трех студий в трех городах – Лос-Анджелесе, Лондоне и Токио, что позволит обеспечить высокое качество картинки в любой точке мира.
